Activities in class
Nationality stack
Divide the class into pairs. Give each pair a copy of nationality cards. Students put the cards face down on their desk in a pile. They pick a card at a time, if the card they pick is their nationality the student says eg. オーストラリアじんです。 if it isn't their nationality the student says the sentence in the negative eg. ドイツじんではありません。

Board games
Countries and nationalities board game
Practice asking and answering questions about various countries and nationalities. How to play: If a student lands on a flag they say the corresponding nationality/country. If a student lands on two numbers they find the two squares corresponding on the game board and ask if they are from the country from the first number and respond with no and say the nationality of the second number. If they land on a question mark and a number, the student asks where they live and respond with the corresponding number's country. (Sample dialogues are on the game board.)
