Game Buzzer
Use this buzzer to play quizzes or other games. Two students can be at the IWB and hit the button when they know the answer to a question being read out by the teacher.  The resource will show who hit the button first by lighting up and playing a buzzer sound.  Once illuminated the display dims one light at a time which can be used as an indicator for when the answer has to be spoken by.

PowerPoint Games for IWB

Deal or no deal TEMPLATE
Review vocabulary or grammr with this interactive PowerPoint game.

HOW TO PLAY: Choose teams.  One team, picks one case.  The team opens up six of the remaining 26 cases. Before opening each case students need to answer a question (this can be Japan or language relate).  When a case is chosen a yen value appears.  The Banker keeps a record of the yen values of the cases chosen and then makes an offer for the team’s chosen case.  The team either accepts the offer (Deal) or declines it (No deal).   If the team declines they continue opening cases until only 1 case remains.  Each time, the Banker makes an offer for the team’s chosen case. The team can accept (DEAL) or not accept (NO DEAL) at any time. Then, the next team plays.  The team with the BEST deal at the end, is the winner!   Choose a person to be the Banker and devise a method to calculate a deal value (i.e. average of remaining cases.)
