Counting people flashcards
Practice describing how many people there are in your family using these flashcards.

Games in class
Give each Ss in the class a card with a family member on it. (Have 2 or 3 families mixed up.) Ss mingle to find their family. They use Japanese questions to do this ie. Onamae wa nan desu ka? おなまえはなんですか。Myouji wa nan desu ka? みょうじはなんですか。 Once they have found all their family members they then figure out what each person's role is in the family. Ie Dad, Mum, older brother etc. Then, they introduce their family to the rest of the class. EXTRA: Add more things such as ages, occupations, hobbies, colours of eyes/hair etc. to make the introductions lengthier.
